Primetime Insiders pays off for ABC
If it's a Tuesday in May it must be Budget night.

ABC could start thinking about more primetime specials for Insiders after a Budget special won its timeslot on Tuesday.
Farmer Wants a Wife topped entertainment at 1.04m in National TV Audience.
Home & Away followed at 885,000.
Budget 2024: The Treasurer’s Speech was second in its slot at 864,000 then a 7:30 Budget special (762,000), MasterChef Australia (632,000), The Summit (523,000) and Who Do You Think You Are? high at 332,000.
Later a Tuesday Insiders: Budget Special led with 637,000 then The Cheap Seats (508,000), The Marlow Murder Club (417,000) and Clarkson’s Farm (316,000).
Seven News topped the night at 1.4m with The Chase winning at 713,000.
Nine News averaged 1.22m then A Current Affair (987,000) and Tipping Point (706,000). Nine News Late was 222,000.
ABC News drew 872,000. A Hard Quiz replay was 400,000 then David Stratton’s Stories of Australia (212,000) Creative Types with Virginia Trioli and 199,000.
The Project pulled 355,000 for 10. 10 News First (322,000), Deal or No Deal (320,000) and NCIS (188,000) followed.
On SBS Insight was 236,000 with SBS World News (153,000 / TBA).

Today: 314,000
News Breakfast: 230,000
