NRLW Origin lifts for Nine, but Seven wins Thursday.

Seven News tops the night. The Hospital: In the Deep End debuts for SBS.

Women’s State of Origin II last night drew 1.07m in National TV Audience, a lift on Game I and topping viewing in Sydney & Brissy.

But it wasn’t enough to halt Seven from winning the night overall.

Tipping Point led entertainment at 735,000 eclipsing The Chase at 686,000.

7:30 drew 595,000 then MasterChef Australia (519,000). Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly was 319,000 in select cities.

Later Restoration Australia pulled 454,000 then Grand Designs (381,000), Taskmaster Australia (326,000) and The Hospital: In the Deep End (225,000).

Seven’s AFL scored 569,000.

Seven News was #1 at 1.3m with Home & Away on 646,000. Crime Investigation Australia drew 209,000 where it screened.

Nine News drew 1.2m with A Current Affair at 1.00m. Nine News Late was 261,000.

ABC News drew 832,000. Hard Quiz (391,000), Antiques Roadshow (244,000) and a rerun of Tony Armstrong’s Extra-Ordinary Things (145,000) followed.

The Project managed 343,000 then Deal or No Deal (329,000) and 10 News First (324,000). Law & Order: SVU tallied 148,000.

On SBS it was SBS World News (187,000 / 132,000), DNA Family Secrets (175,000) MasterMind (95,000) and The Responder (61,000).

The Morning Show: 248,000 / 153,000
Today Extra: 183,000 / 133,000

  1. Was watching The Chase the other afternoon and they had two episodes of the UK Chase and one of the Aussie version.
    Too much of a good thing? Might cause people to get sick of the show.
