This reminds me of the halcyon days of Rage when their artist specials were worth staying up for – Prince, David Bowie, The Cure, Madonna…a Kylie special some years back now (timed with Mardi Gras I believe) forced me to acknowledge how many fantastic songs she has after many years of denial (I guess I was trying to resist the cliche of “gay guy loves Kylie”, no matter how misguided) and she’s still going strong now. From what I saw of the Prince special last night, it was thoroughly excellent. More specials like this please.

3. Weekends playlists now up. On Sunday morning it goes from 2.30am to 5am so Maple Leaf Gardens must be one long show. The rain themed songs Saturday morning is missing Madonna’s Rain and Here Comes the Rain Again by Eurythmics. No tribute for Dario G.
   David I think 4.55am is a typo.
