Returning: The Strange Chores

Season Three of The Strange Chores premieres today on ABC Family.

The series, produced by Ludo Studios (Bluey) & Media World Pictures (Little J & Big Cuz, The Flamin’ Thongs) features a voice cast of Michael Philippou, Cash Gallager-Ruru, Charlotte Nicdao and Nick Tate with guests Josh Lawson, Josh Thomas, Sam Simmons, Maria Angelico, Mark Samuel Bonanno, Yazeed Daher.

The Strange Chores team of teenage monster hunters are back to give household chores a supernatural twist, tipping ordinary life upside down, and turning the dullest parts of a kid’s day into a crazy tangle of monsters, magic and mayhem! for 8 – 12 year olds Charlie, Que and Pierce have finally found the balance between their ordinary lives and their secret after-school job doing chores for the world’s greatest Monster Hunter, Helsing. Life is weird, but it’s about to get weirder!

In Season 3, the gang ascend to the next level of their training as they are now called upon to do chores for the monsters themselves – each with their own insane, eerie and irreverent odd-jobs. Tasked with an eclectic range of chores – from stealing a dragon’s tooth for the Tooth Fairy, delivering invitations for Dracula, destroying a black hole, hanging out with the son of Hades, catching a Werewolf, and finding an undercover robot at school, to work experience at the Ministry of Monster Hunters and evicting a gang of mutant (but cool) Cockroaches – the gang quickly discover that Dracula, Wolfman, Moppy and the rest of the Monster world have stranger chores than they could ever have imagined!

This group of misfits stumble and succeed as they each face strange new challenges, with every Monster chore forcing them to confront their deepest fears and worst teenage insecurities. Friendships will be tested and their bonds will be pushed to the limit as Charlie, Que and Pierce face the biggest adventure of all: growing up.
