  1. How very pleasing and gratifying that Call the Midwife s12 ep 8 ie last in that season, rated 12. Although not the hoped for Top 10, 12 is pretty good, generating 860,000, 521,000 and 16,000. Pity though it didnt rate in he youngest demographic, which it has done. So the only week it rated all 3 sections was its debut. I do hope that channel 2/abc broadcasts s13 by around Sept, (or after Spicks and Specks), so that we here on free to air tv, sees s14 when its ready to be broadcast by Christmas. Its been wonderful watching s12 on free to air tv, so, thank you to abc/channel 2 for finally broadcasting it. Hope s14 cracks Top 10. Im also surprised that movie Dante’s Peak didnt rate. It may be getting older now, but its still brilliant in its concept and storytelling.Visual effects amazing/brilliant. I also have a UK friend who’s a retired volcanologist. Been to Iceland a few times. And a brother who’s a retired geologist who went all over NSW re tremours/quakes.

    1. It’s a very, very much repeated film of considerable age (1997 release) that was aired late night 10.30 ish-despite being well made and acted, one cannot expect a large audience for it.
