The Penguin: teaser

A second teaser for upcoming Gotham City drama starring Colin Farrell.

A new teaser has dropped for upcoming drama series, The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (aka “The Penguin”), has been released ahead of the premiere coming in September.

The eight-episode limited series continues filmmaker Matt Reeves’ crime saga that began with Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Batman. Developed by showrunner Lauren LeFranc, the series centres on the character played by Farrell in the film.

The cast also includes Cristin Milioti plays Sofia Falcone, Rhenzy Feliz plays Victor Aguilar, Michael Kelly plays Johnny Viti, Shohreh Aghdashloo plays Nadia Maroni, Deirdre O’Connell plays Francis Cobb, Clancy Brown plays Salvatore Maroni, James Madio plays Milos Grapa, Scott Cohen plays Luca Falcone, Michael Zegen plays Alberto Falcone, Carmen Ejogo plays Eve Karlo and Theo Rossi plays Dr. Julian Rush.

The Penguin series is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, Lauren LeFranc, who writes and serves as showrunner, Craig Zobel, who directs the first three episodes, and Bill Carraro. Based on characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, The Penguin is produced by Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Reeves and 6th & Idaho are under an overall deal. Daniel Pipski also serves as executive producer.
