  1. Seeing that there is a lot of love for the Traitors, even as the Australian version has already been axed, which overseas version should I watch if I am new to the format?

    1. I really like them both but think I like the UK version just a bit better. Whatever you do, make sure you don’t let anyone tell you what happens in the end lol

    2. I’d say watch US S2, it’s a good season and it’s current. Apart from that they’re all pretty good but if you like it I do recommend watching at least a couple of versions to see what good/bad gameplay looks like. My favourites (of those I’ve watched) in order are AU S1, UK S2, NZ S1, CA S1.

  2. Quick note – for those that think MAFS is the leader of social experiments and drama on TV at present, you may be so wrong. Give The Ultimatum, Queer Love on Netflix a crack – talk about brutal…

  3. I really like the new visual SBS Chill channel on On Demand. As long as it doesn’t become repetitive, I can watch it for hours. Does anyone know if this will be going into the digital TV spectrum, if there’s enough bandwidth, and if it would also go HD?

  4. One last thing from me on The Traitors. Our Aussie version is showing on UK television now and I was reading social media comments on it yesterday, The Brits seem to really like Roger Corser (don’t blame them) but they really really hate Sam (the villain of the piece) and they don’t like the Aussie contestants. It was very interesting reading what the English audience thought of our version. Channel 10 really should give it another go but get someone else to pick the contestants.

    1. The most disgraceful decision at Ten’s Upfronts not bringing back The Traitors AUS for a 3rd season! I’ll never be able to get over that decision!

  5. Surprised that ABC is showing This is going to hurt in their traditional Wednesday night comedy slot … it has some comedic touches but definitely a drama …. And an excellent one at that

  6. i dont understand why they wont do a h20 mermaid limited series as a reunion. with so many streaming services and companies they could do a limited series as a reunion or even a mini series im sure todays audiences would go for it in the ratings

  7. Confirmed: Petra Mede and Malin Åkerman will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö!

  8. Lovely little tongue slip last night on ACA during the Princess Cruise story /advertorial. I’m sure Princess won’t like their ships being called a Princess Sh1t…

  9. Bravo to legend Sam Waterston, departing “Law & Order” as iconic DA Jack McCoy after over 400 eps, dating back 3 decades! Was also recently in “The Dropout”. Brilliant actor and character. End of an era and the last connection to all those previous stars/characters/spin-offs of Dick Wolf’s everlasting procedural that paved the way. Tony Goldwyn will replace.

Also noteworthy, how well all the re-runs have been doing on 7flix on Sundays and Mondays.

  10. are there any tv shows filmed in melbourne this year ? i mean drama not reality…my life is murder season 1 was the last big drama to be filmed around the city i believe and halifax. (like on location around the city like the ones i mentioned used to do

      1. it would be great to see my life is murder return to melbourne for filming for one more season. i know its an NZ show now but would be great just for one season to bring melbourne locations back to it

  11. US crime series The Irrational starts on Seven Monday week around 9.15pm … this screened in US last September and SWAT season 5 returns where it left off before Xmas with episode 8 also Monday week around 10.45pm

  12. I couldn’t find any comments or reviews of Prime’s Dance Life Series, but what an unexpected surprise, a year in the life of Sydney’s Brent Street Performing Arts School from it teachers and students. Well worth the watch, I was unexpectedly taken on a ride. Such dedication from all.

  13. Sad to hear if the passing of actor Carl Weathers. Although he did have many popular movie roles from Rocky to Happy Gilmore( just tap it in, just tap it in) he was an accomplished tv actor guest starring in many American dramas, my favourite being Tour of Duty and most recently in The Mandolorian where he was nominated for an Emmy.

    1. I’m wondering that too because I just checked and can see the cover for the traitors has the season two cast on it but only season one is up, I know this because Sandra from Survivor wasn’t in season one, it was Cherie.

  14. So I know we should not have favourite children and I really like all my ABC personalities but I do really like Dan as his voice modulation and enunciation works just fine for me….I never have to strain to catch what he says👌

  15. So we now know what happens if “Death in Paradise” and “The Love Boat” have a baby – we get “The Good Ship Murder” on SBS at 7.30pm on a Friday. The singer is the DI, The 1st Officer is the DS and the Cabin Attendant is Gopher. It even has the “Scooby Doo” moment when the singer works out who the murderer is. It’s a great watch, which deserves a good number of eyeballs…

      1. Cant imagine it would do much for the cruise industry-‘Spend time with a murderer or murderers trapped aboard a (very ugly looking) ship every week!’.
