Tonight ABC1 has a special local edition of 7.30 Tasmania on ABC1.
Host Airlie Ward will be joined by Tasmania’s Opposition Leader, Will Hodgman to discuss today’s reaction to the resignation of Labor Minister David Bartlett and the ensuing political crisis for the minority government.
Tonight’s program will also include an interview with Political Editor Chris Uhlmann and Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

Really? Did you not read the article. “ensuing political crisis for the minority government”.
Not much happens in Tasmania every day but today was especially significant in terms of our unstable minority government. Like federal parliament, Tasmania also has a minority government which has no official mandate to govern but does so based on an agreement with the greens (similar to Labours agreement with the independents).
So yeah, I think enough happened in Tasmania today to get our own version of 7.30.
