Whitney is truly awful. Words cannot describe.
TUT and ‘Would I Lie to You’ are both remakes. In the early 1970s the ABC (here) ran a local show called ‘Would You Believe?’ Same show, same format. Frank Hardy, Len Evans and Jacquie Weaver (!) were regular panelists. We seem to know everyone’s TV past but our own. Lest we forget.
@DPDP: This Australian TV version of “The Unbelievable Truth” is based on the British radio show hosted by David Mitchell. You can hear it on ABC Radio National at the glamorous time of 5am Saturdays.
Thursday is still 7’s L.C.D. day…
I’m not holding my breath for any of this.
The Chaser crew in their various incarnations are well passed their use-by date.
The show “Whitney” is terrible. Also it doesn’t sit well with the “Community” fanbase. At least switch CougarTown around in the time slot!
That’s prob about the best time for TUT (yes, it’s got an acronym already). It prob won’t resonate with Seven’s core audience and isn’t going to get big numbers but might find a reasonable following in that timeslot. I’ll def have a look.
Interesting timeslot… one day after the Hamster Wheel
I will be watching. Have all these eps been pre-recorded?
Ages ago.
I wish Seven would show the series that inspired Cougar Town, Cougarton Abbey.
Perhaps on 7two 😉
So “The unbelievable Truth” is just a version of “Would I Lie To You?” which has been on ABC1 recently? I hope they can pull it off, but it won’t be easy.
