Amazing Race fans, at least those who are still left, need to take a detour from this week, with the show moved to 10:45pm Mondays from tomorrow.
This appears to be to make room for Mr. Selfridge on Thursdays following Downton Abbey.
The competition heats up as the final five teams race to Amsterdam and take a dip in a floating hot tub in search of their next clue.
Meanwhile a new episode of Air Crash Investigations airs 11:15pm Thursday.
A loud vibration and the smell of smoke warn the pilots of British Midland Flight 92 that they have an engine fire on board. The crew shuts down the engine and tries to land at a nearby airport, but their second engine fails before they can get safely on the ground. Just meters from the runway, the 737-400 slams into an embankment beside Britain’s busy M1 motorway. It seems like a rare case of dual engine failure, but investigators soon learn that a tragic misunderstanding may be the real cause of the crash.

I’m happy enough with this. Whether I’m recording it on Thursday at 11pm or Monday at 11pm is much of a muchness.
10.45 this Monday my arse. How late do you reckon the MKR finale overrun will push it?
Glad it is still airing! But there are only 3 episodes to go. The programming at 7 is abysmal and is getting worse not better!
Love both shows. Happy to see new eps of ACI back finally! Now, if only Seven could find room for Once Upon A Time!
The Amazing Race is currently screening?! Oh my, I feel so out of the loop…
Once upon a time I never missed an episode, even managed that finale on New Year’s Eve. Gah!
I wish Seven treated The Amazing Race as well as Nine/GO treat Survivor.
I like watching this show but I didn’t even know it was on. Checking over at Plus7, I see that I’ve missed most of the episodes.
