Returning: The Amazing Race

Season 35 begins, now with longer episodes.

The Amazing Race returns to Seven next week with host Phil Keoghan and 13 teams competing for the $1 million prize.

The race begins before the Hollywood sign and races through 7 other nations. Season 35 also returned to using commercial flights instead of charter flights as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Get ready for 90 minute episodes this season due to the US Writer’s Strike. .

It debuts 6 days after its US return.

9:50pm Wednesday October 4 on Seven -which is also the same night 10 screens The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition in an earlier slot.

  1. I’m surprised and annoyed that 7 are waiting a week to air TARUS, especially when 9 have been great with Survivor US (episodes airing within 12 hours, with finales airing in simulcast during the day).

    Delayed airing of a reality game show is like watching sport on delay (especially for those who engage with the show online). It should be 48 hour delay at absolute most.

  2. So looking forward to seeing this. Will not be watching the Australian one as host is not my cup of tea nor are celebrities. I want normal everyday people racing around the world.

    And no charter flights will bring back some excitement too!
