9 Comments:

  1. Very telling that there was such as drop-off post 2100. Yes, it was a school/work night but this may be indicative of changing viewing patterns overall. Certainly starting high profile programming after that time is becoming a non-starter for the networks. High profile local dramas and the like can now never be considered for start times beyond 2000.

Seven Year Itch numbers were disappointing overall but may improve during normal programming periods. If not Channel Seven may need to have a re-think.

Modern Family repeats are really not an acceptable viewing option and cannot continue through to the premiere of MasterChef if Ten wish to retain any credibility.

    • For me from 8:30pm onwards I can get 3 shows watched in roughly 2 hours on Netflix or Stan, so tend to do that now or watch some I have PVRed during the week. The idea of keeping up with shows daily has faded for me, not even fussed about shows being slow-tracked any more, would rather watch in batches of 3 now. Like last night I watched the past 3 episodes of NCIS, again it’s over in 2 hours as I’ve skipped the ads and credits.

  2. Its blatantly obvious mkr made the biggest difference and had the biggest influence on 7s win. Seven news an obvious second. Nine had nothing to offer yesterday.

  3. 1.65m for MKR!

Back to its best? Or just all the non-stop promotion for last night’s ep with Josh?

Massive ratings for Seven News Melbourne too, with a big AFL Easter Monday lead-in.

Seven creamed the competition with the biggest shares since the Australian Open, sadly for them, it’s non-ratings period.
