It has been tailor-made specifically for Foxtel by Pace Technologies.

I wouldn’t hold my breath for this. As I said in another post I did re Foxtel HD, let’s wait and see. I’m sick and tired of them ignoring the technology changes and their persistence in masquerading analogue channels as digital with disastrous effects. I’m giving them 6 months after witch I’ll cancel Foxtel for good and wait until Pay-TV competition improves.
It better connect to a network. But something tells me they’ll wrap it some obnoxious DRM anyway.
I can’t wait until TiVo gets here. If not for the product itself, at least Foxtel can get some freakin’ competition. I’m sick of this monopoly.
No word yet.

What are the four new foxtel channels?
Do you reckon the switch to HD (well adding new channels and this STB) will improve the SD image on older channels?
