Seven has held off all the shows they started in 07 that became strike affected: Prison Brk, Earl, Heroes etc.
They don’t have many Prison Brk up their sleeve so it could be a while.
whats the deal with prison break? there seems to have been an announcement about every other US show post writers strike bar this one..Ive watched it religiously since day one and will be devastated if it just doesnt come back at all.
As you probably realise everything is only ever released a week at a time. At the moment we know up to the week of March 16.
David, are House repeats going to be a regular on Ten on Wednesday nights, or is something different happening after Easter?
Doh…
It was TEN but no more….
Dave, not sure what network it was on but has said network ordered anymore episodes of Blackjack?
I liked that show :p
Correct… date / time under embargo til Thursday.
Saw an add during IT2 that The Rich List is coming back to Seven “soon”
Sorry no, they seem pretty thin without new comedies with Chaser, Chris Lilley and of course Kath & Kim…..oddly enough Librarians is up against The IT Crowd in the Rose D’Or Awards.
David,
Any word on when abc1 are going to air the 2nd series of The IT Crowd?
Cheers
No sorry, heard about as much as you. Obviously a glitch of some sort, but I’d be more inclined to follow it up if it was an ongoing error or the message was a lot more sinister. Probably just a one-off….
Do you have any information about the mysterious message many (all?) Foxtel subscribers received Wednesday morning around 9:40EST?

David S: Disney advises no plans for Toon Disney at this stage. There was no comment regarding Wikipedia info.
Incl this week there are 2 eps of the current series of Lewis.
Second series has just started airing in the UK but only the first ep has aired. Depends if Seven decides to fasttrack it after Easter?
Allan Border Medal: In 2007 it was 9:35-11:35pm on Monday Feb 5, before ratings were back, I think delayed. It got 880,000.
Hey David, just wondering how many more episodes of Lewis on Seven on Wednesday nights there are.
Obviously the Oscars is different because it’s held in a different time zone. Unless my memory is awful, previous years of the Allan Border Medal were broadcast live and in full.
I guess I’m just wondering what is so different this year that they stopped showing it live.
Live? No. Neither the Oscars nor Allan Border Medal have been promoted by Nine as live events. Obviously an edited package.
David,
Are we supposed to believe that tonight’s Allan Border Medal is being broadcast live at 10:30pm ??
And it’s only 90 minutes long ?
Might not be til summer, don’t sue me if I forget!
Hey!
When Monster House returns can you please tell us! ^.^
thanks. (I got a candy necklace)
Nine promised S3 of Hotel Babylon for 08, so it stands to reason S2 would air first. They actually scheduled it over summer but changed their mind at the last minute.
I’d say any Gordon Ramsay they can get their hands on they will….maybe they should start Hell’s Kitchen again!
David, I am interested to know why nine doesn’t air live into Australia at midday, the Academy Awards?
Does it really rate at 8:30pm for them? Considering that this is the Internet age and that it isn’t too difficult to find out the winners for all the major catagories are?
Who has the final say in when nine can air it? Is it the US broadcaster? The Academy or Nine?
Do you think that one day the Awards will be shown live at midday AND then again at 8:30pm? Or just at Midday even?
My understanding is Nine on-sold it to Foxtel (as they have done with a few other shows before). I’d be surprised if this is one they decided to run with, given its teen theme. There’s no word on whether they will or won’t.
Hey David. I was wondering if you could help. I’m a fan of Gossip Girl. I’ve been watching eps online and on Fox8. I want to get my mates onto it, but they don’t have Pay TV and they say they read in a tv guide that GG would air later this year on Ch9. Wasn’t GG supposed to air on Ch9 anyway, do you know why Fox8 started airing it first? Also, I heard the ratings for GG in the U.S. weren’t so great. Considering this is also a teen oriented show do you think Nine would really bother re-airing it?
