Big Brother watching Mike

Mike Goldman looks likely to be hosting Monday Nominations for Big Brother this year.

Radio commitments for Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O mean the radio duo may only host the Sunday Eviction shows for TEN.

Goldman could also end up fronting specials of the reality show. It has previously been reported that 2008 is expected to see a return of Uncut in some form, as well as the removal of the Up Late edition. There is also the possibility of other editions, including on TEN HD.

Meanwhile the Behind Big Brother website, with its long-standing reputation of leaking BB stories, last week published a picture of a potential ‘new-look’ logo and website for Big Brother 08.

The holding page, which had been hosted by TEN, was promptly removed.

BBB also noted several Gladiator auditionees were invited to apply for BB, with both series produced by Southern Star Endemol.

Big Brother is expected to launch sometime in April.

  1. hehe confuse the BB audience??
That aint too hard to do!!!
Watching a bunch of talentless people sit around bored playing ice breaker games for three months while waiting for a bit of nudity isnt television, its one of TV’s greatest mysteries as to why people watch this show. Are the younger generations that desperate for role-models? I dont know how some people can complain about shows like The Mint etc etc, and then cheerleader this one!! 🙂
I watched season one because my school buddy Blair was in it, but havnt watched it since.
Hopefully this will be the last season!!!

  2. sounds good, i can’t stand kyle and jackie-o and i’m really not looking forward to seeing them on BB.

But i do agree with joe, having two new hosts only for special occasions will just confuse viewers even more. I had a lot of hope this year’s big brother would be different, but it really isn’t shaping up to be that way.

In saying that though, just like every year i’ll be switching it on religiously whenever it begins!

  3. What’s the point having in hiring two new hosts if you’re only going to see them once a week? Surely they can work around their radio program like they’ve been doing now in the US.

Goldman could make a great host to a nominations show however i think a female would be more suitible for uncut.
