Classic stars for Emmy’s big night

More presenters have been confirmed for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards including Glenn Close, Sally Field, Alec Baldwin, Sandra Oh and Ricky Gervais.

And there are “classic” television stars set to shine with both Mary Tyler Moore and Betty White to present an award together. There had previously been talk of the entire cast from her golden age sitcom reuniting. ‘MTM’ is currently part of the cast of Lipstick Jungle.

Also presenting together are Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart.

Other presenters include Patrick Dempsey, Craig Ferguson, Brooke Shields and Martin Sheen. Winners from the Creative Arts Emmys will present as well: Cynthia Nixon, Glynn Turman and Kathryn Joosten.

These names add to the list of Christina Applegate, Candice Bergen, David Boreanaz, Wayne Brady, Jimmy Kimmel, Kiefer Sutherland, America Ferrera, Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Williams, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The Arena Channel will air the awards live from 10am Monday while TEN has highlights later that night (or even early Tuesday morning!).

NB: TV Tonight will be announcing winners on Monday, in line with Arena telecast. If you don’t wanna know before TEN’s broadcast, you have been warned!
