Who says your pleas are never heard?
TEN has made an amendment (yes to summer again) that keeps Californication in schedule for now.
It will remain on Sunday nights, 10:50pm this Sunday, and 10:40pm December 7th. Beyond that is yet to be announced, but this move is an encouraging sign.
Readers on this site were unhappy that TEN had seemingly dropped the Showtime drama from its Sunday line-up.
And Seven has also responded to pressure for a better timeslot for 24: Redemption. It has moved forward an hour to 8:30pm Friday December 5 instead of 9:30pm. We’d all like a better weeknight than this, but at least a little people power has seen some change!
Keep the suggestions comin’ guys!
Sun Nov 30
6:30pm Thank God You’re Here (season final)
7:40pm Don’t Forget The Lyrics
8:40pm Sunday Night Movie – School Of Rock
10:50pm Californication
11:25pm The Office
11:55pm Sunday Late Night Movie – Planes Trains & Automobiles

Considering Californication has tanked every week of its ratings.. Its amazing why Ch10 hasnt given the arse to this too!
Jed, while i like californication, it’s not the best show on tv.. actually maybe it is on aussie tv these days…, however It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the funniest series around these days. Latest season has been amazing.
Easily the best show on tv at the moment Californication, however if the tools at Seven brought back It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which was a late 11.30 on Sundays it would be second. So glad to hear that it will continue its run such a die hard fan I’m also happy that there is crap on before hand so I can sleep until it comes on then it a clean run with the Office, which I think should be in a 7 o’clock timeslot, great great shows, it’s funny how Ten hide their best programming late at night and bombard us with crap in primetime, oh Ten Ten Ten no wonder you rate third seriously…
It’s a bloody half-hour show. I don’t see what the problem was in the first place? They have billions of repeats and they don’t want to show this once a week? I’m glad they decided against it but for how long?
Here’s a suggestion – junk the overplayed movies on Sunday nights and slot in Smallville and 8.30 and 90210 at 9.30 (90210 performed very poorly but that was as much a factor of poor promotion and terrible lead-in)
hi
i think cali should stay on to finsh at lest season2 then if they want dont show it but i would love if they keepted it where it is i love cali
yay, *claps hands and jumps up and down*
I can’t believe the idots were planning on saving the few remaining episodes in the first place though.
i’d like to see smallville season 8 back on, 10HD’s sci-fi thursday used to consist of 4 shows with first run episodes and now it is down to only 2 and one of those is the x-files which is very old yet has the prime 8:30pm slot. please show us the first half of smallville before 10HD no longer exists, and who knows they might even be able to get the 2nd half in before ONE starts.
also since 9 is selling off shows why don’t they give moonlight, primeval and terminator the sarah connor chronicles to either 10 or 7 so they can actually be aired this summer coz it seems 9 isn’t going to deliver.
Excellent news! Now if only we could convince Network TEN to continue along with House and Life. Just because it’s summer doesn’t necessarily mean people aren’t watching TV! Oh well. Wishful thinking, can’t have it all I guess. I wouldn’t be surprised though if they find that the ratings next season are slightly down for certain programs because of people downloading programs from the net.
Friday night for 24 is great for anyone who works during the week. Yay!!!
Wow, a decent programming turnaround for a change. Whether it was from viewer feedback or not, the channel 10 gibbons have redeemed themselves.
Anna, don’t forget Bridget Jones’ Diary and Love Actually
TEN’s promises are as good as a politician on the campaign trail.
Anna, it could have been worse… ten could have dragged out Happy Gilmore or Billy Maddison for the eleventy-billionth time…
Please channel 7 – 24 on any other night….why not Thu??
the new law and order eps on fridays at 8.30 instead of 9.30!!! more simpsons- but start from season 1. have 2 repeats of ncis a week
Cool … I feel so important now… 😉
“Any chance that channel nine will air the last 2 episodes of the Mentalist for this year tonight and next week?”
Unlikely as it’s rating to good to waste on non rating weeks.
“Or do I have to obtain them elsewhere?”
Looks like it.
Thanks for the new David, now we just need news that 90210 is moving to Fridays where it should have been for the last month!
Well there are only four episodes left in the entire second season of Californication, so it seems pretty stupid to stop airing them at this point. Then again, look what Seven did with Heroes last season…
thank you Ten.
I will watch Californication – now that you are certain to keep it at that time.
So therefore your sponsors/advertisers have a chance of getting my business.
Seven- you too have chance of me buying from your sponsorsas I will give 24 Redemption a go.
See networks, that is how it works, you look after Joe Public and we look after you
P.S. David, keep up the info and programme changes and let’s see if genuine people power wins out over nonsensical network changes.
Now, if only Seven would give prison break a decent time
I am really enjoying the second season.
I find it very different from other dramas. It is not a “crime of the week” show. Or a serial with lots of cliffhangers.
It is a fun relaxed show where I enjoy spending time with the characters.
Any chance that channel nine will air the last 2 episodes of the Mentalist for this year tonight and next week? Or do I have to obtain them elsewhere?
8:40pm Sunday Night Movie – School Of Rock
why o why must we always see this movie every so often
if its not that: About A Boy, Mean Girls, Gladiator
or Jumanji is on..I think these movies are on a repeat
button or something like that. Ugh I really hate these
repetitive movies, time to change the tape 10
roll in better and exciting ones, not the same ones
over and over again.
I would still like to see TEN continue their late Sunday night lineup with Californication followed by The Daily Show followed by The Office. That was a perfect lat night lineup for me on a Sunday.
