Hamish Blake, Rove, Kyle Sandilands, Melissa Doyle, Sandra Sully and Rebecca Gibney …just some of the names that are featuring prominently in current polling for the the TV Tonight Awards 2008.
But for which category?
That’s being kept under wraps for now. Remember there are Best and Worst categories open to readers.
Some of the other names popping up regularly include: Andrew O’Keefe, Shaun Micallef, Ian Dickson, Sam Newman, Eddie McGuire, Gyton Grantley, David Koch, Julia Zemiro, Kat Stewart, Anna Coren, Myf Warhurst and Jackie O. But is that good news or bad news?
Voting for the Awards closes at the end of Thursday, January 1st. You can have your say on the best and worst of Aussie and International Television from 2008 HERE.
The survey takes between 5 – 10 mins to complete.

Rodger Corser, Helen Kapalos and Hamish Blake are all awesome and my faves on TV.
It would have been easier if there was one big list (possibly split up into the categories) of show titles to jog the memory.
damn, i forgot about rebecca gibney when i was voting, she is fantastic, i sure hope she is up for a “best”
and i hope eddie is up for a worst
Neighbours Jackie Woodburne and Ian Smith should also be named!
I reckon David should give us crystal ball for who he thinks will be –
Best new show for 09
Show that gets most hype before it airs –
First show to get the dreaded promo “brand new timeslot and new night”
Personaity that wil be overexposed
Personality that will shine in 09
First show to get the chop in 09
How many shows promised for 09 we don’t see by Mid year.
and guesstimate of –
how many programming shuffles/changes we will have for each network
how many “publicity blyrbs David will get from networks.
I reckon it would be interetsing to see David’s thoughts and views from allusers on this and other categories before the event..and then we can look back and laugh later..
