  1. For those who don’t know, SVU has only aired 11 eps this season…so it will be pulled with effectively half the season still to air. Ten will probably hold it over til later in the year as it truly is one of their only hits (or a show that cracks over a million, anyway). I agree its odd they pulled this move, but CI will probably rate just as well (around 1.1-1.4 million per ep)

  2. what a different line up for ten! doesnt look to good to me, ratings wise. looking forward to the occasional watching of rules of engagement. and good to see medium in a better timeslot.

  3. Interesting line up. Two questions come to mind. Where is Rove, and why has SVU been replaced with CI mid season? There are still plenty of episodes left for Ten to play. Doesn’t affect me to much. I watch them on Channel BT 🙂

  4. With a couple of exceptions, that’s a pretty “who cares” list of programmes. Odd that Life On Mars is getting buried later at night, I’d have thought that was one of their more popular shows?

  5. I don’t understand why Channel 10 doesn’t pair up Law & Order: CI with the original on Thursday. Surely a spin-off would serve as a good lead in to the original show.

Looks like SVU won’t be back until the 2nd half of the year.

  6. Boo Hiss to Ch Teen for moving LoM. Sure, I know it’s life is finite, but can’t they wait a couple of weeks?

As for other shows shoved to the late slots, will we see Season 3 of Dexter?

  7. I think the way the masterchef alternates from 30 mins to 1 hr every day won’t do it any good.. Is it done that way in the UK?? It should be more consistent i reckon, especially since it’s on so frequently.. Ah well.. i can’t see it doing that well..

  8. There is still a lot of MasterFlop in that schedule, I don’t see that panning out well. Much better slot for Medium.

Why on earth have they pulled SVU for Criminal Intent? That is pathetic.

  9. No real surprises here. Its a shame they’re bringing back Numb3rs as that is a cop procedural at its worst: clunky, half-assed dialogue, one-dimensional characters and repetitive plots. Good to see Rules of Engagement back, it rated well over the summer in repeats and they held over 3 or 4 season two episodes which will serve as the lead in to season 3. Life on Mars swap with Medium was predictable, as an axed show they could only take it so far. I wonder if Merlin will rate as well.

  10. Wonder why Rove’s not on Sun May 3… oh hang on … that’s logies night right?

Life on Mars 10.30 Fri – at least there is something to watch Fri as Thursdays at our house are so jammed with shows, some end up being watched on Fri night anyway.

Think there are too many hours of Masterchef, its a big commitment time-wise to get into. May give it ago, but 6 nights a week will be hard.
