Key creatives from Underbelly are developing a true-crime telemovie for Network TEN.
Screenwriter Peter Gawler is to write The Killing of Caroline Byrne (working title) which will explore the death of model Caroline Byrne in 1995. The body of Byrne was found at the bottom of a cliff at The Gap.
Two inquests were held into Byrne’s death by New South Wales State coroner. The second inquest in 1998 delivered an open finding. Her boyfriend at the time was convicted of murder late last year.
The telemovie, to be produced by Greg Haddrick and Des Monaghan, and directed by Tony Tilse, will explore whether her death was suicide or murder.
Screentime also produced true-crime telemovie The Society Murders for TEN.

Hopefully its as big as Underbelly.
This sounds like it could be an exellent production, I can’t wait to see which actors get involved.
