UPDATE: Now 8pm Monday June 29 all states.
Well, I did kinda say it’s return would be imminent.
The Big Bang Theory (which was supposed to begin until June 23rd) finally gets a half-decent shot at 9pm Tuesday June 30th.
It will air in Sydney and Brisbane.
Other states will have until after a week after the EJ Whitten Game -which also plays on Nine interstate.
Of course, it’s also the same night that Packed to the Rafters returns.
Ok cancel that line about “half decent.”

What is wrong with Channel Nine? I love this show, just bought the DVD of the first season, and was looking forward to the second season. Shame it’s only airing in Bris, and Syd. (I don’t live there), and frankly it’s going to be pulled in two weeks because of the poorly chosen time slot. Arrggg!
Great news again Love the show.
Tho i know it wont last i just wait til the Season-2 is released on Dvd or even Foxtel pick up the show.
6:30 after the news is the spot for this show.
There’s nothing worth watching on any of the channels at this time 🙂
Just before it was yanked last time, it got just under 1 million viewers. I’d hardly call that unpopular or low ratings.
I dont think this would have been that popular here. Dont get me wrong, i love it to pieces, one of the funniest shows on tv now IMO but the jokes are very rapid fire, and their banter is very quick as well etc its proven in the past that these comedies rarely work. Its why 2&AHM works; it appeals to everybody because its so broad and slow paced.
Wow, it’ll be buried in that timeslot. Who’s going to remember it hidden there, when Packed to the Rafters returns on the same night.
Gone in two weeks, due to low ratings.
Ah channel nine. Just news about your moronic programming decisions – on, off, on, off, on, off, on…. – is comedy gold in itself. Almost as good as the show itself.
They should seriously overhaul their Tuesday night unless they are happy sitting at a distant 3rd every Tuesday night, and losing any potential gains they make on Monday.
I have a feeling this will last a week before it is replaced with you guessed it, a 2.5 Men repeat.
Nine has really, really dropped the ball on this show.
It could have been a huge hit here. Too late now, though.
OMG do they want anyone to watch this show? Between packed and re-runs of NCIS I will be surprised if BBT gets more than 500k. If they don’t change their mind in the next few hours and shift it again!
