Returning: Burn Notice

Burn Notice fans you have been heard. It's coming back to Thursday nights.

burn_noticeBurn Notice fans you have been heard.

The show is back at 9:30pm Thursday August 20th on TEN.

The episode is “Double Booked” S2E8.

Fans of the show, oughta get behind this one. I suspect TEN is a bit dubious this will work, but they are hearing some love for it so I’d be getting behind this one. At least that’s the way I read this, based on previous conduct of shuffling, dumping and fan protest.

It also helps that the series just won another renewal in the US.

  1. I love this show with a passion but can I ask why it’s not starting at Episode 1 Season 2? Its a shame not to see the previous episodes of Season 2….it should be common sense hey?

  2. i agree with david, if you like the show then spread the word and try get more people talking about it and that its back!!
wed 9.30 would have been a better slot for it as thursdays 9.30 are actually doing ok in ratings where as wed 9.30 house gets like under 600,00

  3. Burn Notice is huge in the US
It’s now the #1 show on cable in the US, with ratings that put it way ahead of many network I love the show. Hoping Ten sticks with it and let’s it grow.

  4. yeah it helps that it won a new season but it does hurt cause its been off so long. Get a clue 10 for once then maybe people wont download shows and will watch it on tv

  5. This will be axed in no time. It’s a fairly ordinary show and the main female actor is terrible with no charisma & her character is dreadful. Hopefully it’s not around for long. Would have preferred TEN put the excellent In Plain Sight here instead of at midnight.

And lol at being better then Castle. Almost anything is better then that show. It’s derivative and incredibly cliched.

  6. Ten have 9 episodes to go this season, and season 3 has already started in the US, so they have plenty of episodes in the stockpile. I’m not sure how this will rate though, I predict 700k.

  7. Awesome! I thought Burn Notice was a great show, and doubled up with Rush it’ll be a great Thursday night combination!
Fingers crossed it’ll start to rate much better. It isn’t really up against stiff competition in that timeslot.

  8. It’s been so long I can’t remember what’s happened in this season so far…!

As the worst-looking HD show on the planet, though, at least being consigned to the Ten SD dumpster won’t hurt especially much. In fact, it’ll probably smooth out the grain 😀

  9. This is an excellent pulp fiction television show. It sure as hell beats yet another reality series. A thoroughly acceptable way to waste some time in front of the box. It harks back to the old underdog heroes, asks the viewer to jump on the fantasy wagon, plus the actors themselves do a superb job.

  10. Again, not constructive but this show is also garbage IMO and should be in the bin where it belongs.

If they try and advertise the lead as a sex symbol again I am going to need a bucket in my loungeroom.

  11. I love this show! I think it is better than Castle, and deserves to rate just as well. Rush into Burn Notice makes a great crime double both having action and humour, so hopefully it will hold onto the same audience. Can’t wait.
