King of the Hill will end its 13 season run in the US with an hour long finale on September 13th.
It follows confirmation last October that the show would come to an end this year.
In the series finale episode, “The Boy Can’t Help It” / “The Honeymooners,” the Hills’ teenage son Bobby (Pamela Adlon) is being teased by girls in his class who pretend to be interested in inviting him as a date for the Homecoming dance.
Also in the episode, Hank is shocked when his mother announces she is marrying a man she has only known for a few weeks. Soon after, the newlyweds celebrate by purchasing an RV and heading to Hank’s.
Writers Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are both busy with more recent projects including The Goode Family (now cancelled), Extract and The Office (US).

I’m like you teewink, always watch it once a week on Foxtel.Never watched the show when it was on free to air,as there was always something else on lol.Certainly a very topical show as well relating to world events at times
It is boring, I always fall asleep when I watch it.
well i love king of the hill and watch every day on austar. sad to see it go.
I heard in the final scene the lights suddenly go out… because the characters fall asleep from boredom.
I had no idea it was still going, I thought it had been cancelled years ago. Nobody talks about it as being a current show anymore.
I never watched it. I couldn’t figure out why it was animated when it was no different to a live action sitcom.
Bring back Beavis and Butthead
what ever happened to those rumours that another channel would buy king of the hill?
This show shouldn’t have gone for more than 4 seasons, because this show was so bad!
