Sydney, Red Faces needs you.
It was a modest turnout at Red Faces auditions in Melbourne yesterday. So Sydney, it's up to you today to show producers what you've got.

Ok Sydney, it could be up to you to help ignite the Red Faces segment of the upcoming Hey Hey reunions.
TV Tonight hears yesterday’s open call at GTV9 in Melbourne was modest at best. Today it’s Sydney’s turn.
While the call time was 2 – 6pm yesterday, wanna-be’s were encouraged to arrive early to avoid missing out. The small turnout who were there in the morning were told to come back at 1:30pm and strut their stuff under the watchful eyes of producer Jack Strom, who ran the segment for years in Hey Hey‘s hey-day. There were even a few kids and mums who might have wandered out of My Kid’s A Star.
By the afternoon the turnout was still on the modest side, but TV Tonight hears a clown and a senior female were the ones who may have got the thumbs up.
The show is likely to be looking for around 12 acts all up, 6 each for two specials. If you live in Sydney your odds of getting a guernsey just improved.
Here’s where to be from 10am – 5pm today.

The room looked empty on the news.
TV Tonight hears a clown…… may have got the thumbs up. A clown, now that’s an original comedy act sure to bring in the punters.
And where are the clowns?
Quick send in the clowns.
Don’t bother, Daryl Somers is already here.
Just goes to show that there’s not enough interest in the reunion of Hey Hey.
Maybe this should tell Ch 9 something….nobody is interested in this tired ‘old’ show
