SBS renews Costa’s Garden Odyssey
Costa Georgiadis' holistic approach to gardening has seen him rewarded with another ten more episodes.

SBS has approved another ten episodes of its gardening/lifestyle series Costa’s Garden Odyssey to screen on SBS ONE early in 2010.
The show takes a holistic approach to gardening and horticulture, emphasising the importance of water and sustainable living.
Denise Eriksen, SBS Manager Production and Development said, “Ten episodes into the odyssey and there can be little doubt of the unique talent that is Costa Georgiadis. A natural born performer, Costa is a generous and caring soul, an exuberant host able to connect with people from all walks of life.”
Rick Spence, executive producer and co-creator added, “In Series I, we watched Costa’s confidence and performance grow as he revelled in exploring a different way of gardening that most of us knew little about.
“Costa’s Garden Odyssey series 2 will see an evolution of the successful format created in the first series. Costa’s Garden Odyssey has always been about gardening the soil and the soul. Series 2 will take to a new generation of gardeners.”
Last week the show pulled 300,000 viewers. A final epsiode airs at 8pm tonight on SBS ONE.

Costas puts a refreshing perspective into gardening shows. Glad to hear it’s returning!
This show is fantastic! I hope they repeat the first series as I only caught the last couple of episodes but I was hooked. Costa is a really likeable host with interesting and useful ideas.
