Joanna Lumley to deliver UK’s douze points for Eurovision

Iconic actor set to bring a touch of glamour and comedy to a famous cameo opportunity.

Joanna Lumley will be the United Kingdom’s spokesperson at the Eurovision Final this weekend.

Practicing for the big night she said, “Good Evening Malmö, it’s Joanna here! I am delighted to be announcing the jury vote for the UK at this year’s Eurovision. It’s such a fabulous honour to give the iconic ‘douze points’!”

Can we hope it’s in ‘Patsy’ costume too?

  1. SBS organisers are very slack this year – first they took almost until the last hour to announce who was representing Australia this year, now they can’t announce Australia’s spokesperson until the last minute too, with Eurovision taking place within hours. Add to this, they also scrapped Eurovision: Australia Decides. Very disorganised and all very “last minute”.
