GO! will finally get around to the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, including the appearances by the cast of Seinfeld, as they were intended.
Nine played select, out of sequence episodes in an effort to capitalise on the cast’s appearances.
The new season finds Larry continuing to cope with the aftermath of his separation from Cheryl, and in an attempt to win her back he calls upon the original Seinfeld cast to do something that people have been demanding for the last 10 years – have a Seinfeld reunion.
Other guests this season include Catherine O’Hara, Christian Slater, Richard Lewis, Rosie O’Donnell, Meg Ryan and Elisabeth Shue, along with Ted Danson, Wanda Sykes, Richard Lewis and Vivica A. Fox.
It begins Sunday, December 27 at 9.30pm.

Larry David and gang are outstanding. Everyone is perfect in their roles. The humor is priceless. Larry David’s mediocre efforts still bring more laughs than most situation comedies.
Awesome, i did not know that they were showing the curb series. i accidentally stumbled across it on the 27th (episode 1) and luckily only missed the first few mins of the show. So a bit more advertisement would have been nice!!
as a huge fan of curb, i am so happy that they are showing all the episodes now, albeit late and after the US. GO! has my vote now, because of curb
Thank god for GO! The shining light in Aussie tv.
Now if they just started making some orginal shows…
I think that was the point Paull.
Paul who said ” This was possibly the worst way to do a seinfeld reunion (by incorporating it in Curb)- What a shame, it could have been so much mor” I completely disagree.
It was the only way you could do one and not have it suck. That was the whole premise of the series, not to just do another cheesy reunion for the sake of it that would suck. Something completely lost on channel nine when they chopped up the season to try and sell it as one. It’s very in the style of seinfeld to only do a reunion on something like curb. It was also a way of doing a reunion of sorts, with out having to live up to the expectations of if it was a stand alone few episodes or something.
The annoying thing is, seeing them doing the show on curb, even reading lines makes you realise how much you miss it, but seriously there’s no way if they did a straight up reunion it’d ever live up to expectations, this got around that. Reminds me of how people don’t like the final, shows they missed a huge underlying premise/aspect of the show. Although however this is a final for Curb Your Enthusiasm fans, not for seinfeld fans, so i can see why it would be annoying for those that don’t like or get Curb, who may be the people who don’t get the final or why this was the best way for a seinfeld reunion to not suck.
Wanda Sykes is in the 1st eps of the season having dinner with Cheryl in the scene just b4 Cheryl tells him she loved him best when he was working on Seinfeld.
Not as good as Season 6 but still hilarious. Also David I don’t remember seeing Wanda Sykes in any episodes.
I like this show but I do find Larry David a little creepy ala Woody Allen. Also I hope I manage to stay awake while watching the show. 9.30pm is my bewitching hour where I have all good intentions on watching a show after 9.30pm but then end up falling asleep & missing about half of it. Call me grandma even though I am in my thirties. Also the constant chopping & changing of the program doesn’t help. Your motivation for watching the program drops because of it being shown out of sequence or not knowing when it will be on again. Thanks David for letting us know when the new series of Curb is back on.
HA!!
To late like most here i just saw the season & it was great as always.
I hope they don’t cut out Marty Funkhouser’s joke! hahahaha soooo dirty. 😀
This was possibly the worst way to do a seinfeld reunion (by incorporating it in Curb)- What a shame, it could have been so much more 🙁
@quokka – no reason why it wouldn’t. The show does OK for GO.
What’s the chances that it will stay at 9:30 for more than a week….
Ted Danson is a “guest” so much I thought he was part of the regular cast…
