Gary Coleman storms off US interview

It's not particularly helpful to have a meltdown on air when you're trying to water down stories that you may have issues.

Volatile performer Gary Coleman got himself back in the news again after walking off in the middle of a US interview on The Insider.

Coleman refused to answer a question asked by panellist and attorney Lisa Bloom, as to whether he has an abusive relationship with his wife. He suggested it was ridiculous as he is 4’7″ and his wife is 5’6,” .

He let rip on Bloom before storming away, which was kinda unhelpful when you’re trying to deny stories that suggest you may have issues.

The former Diff’rent Strokes star was arrested last month on an outstanding warrant after police received a domestic disturbance call from his house. It follows a string of stories in the media over domestic issues and run-ins with the law.

  1. i have noticed it alot lately …is 2010 the year for pushy journos, pushing and pushing until they get a reaction, that wasn’t the time or place to sort through an issue like abuse in the family, that was more about the reactionary television they wanted, so they could talk about it for days…and the rest of the media picks it up cause if they dont, they get another label. He needs some sort of help poor bugger

  2. he clearly needs help with his anger because if he didnt abuse his wife, he would have calmly said no those are just rumors that are very not true. the more he walks away from the issue, the more the tabloids are going to say things that are not true. Unless that is what he wants, which if it is that is just a sad way to get attention.

  3. This isn’t funny guys, they pick on Garry coz he’s a washed up child star and he’s little. He’s a decent guy who’s had a Tough life. Imagine having to sue your own parents, the people who gave birth to you, because they Stole all your money!

He lost it all and was bankrupt because of them and now he works odd jobs to stay afloat, he gets bullied and ridiculed and now it’s all ok to sit back and laugh?

Heartless stuff, he’s not had an easy ride, check out his bio, it’s a sick society sometimes, he’s a whipping boy and we get off on it.

    Shameful

  4. Rubbish TV. I don’t know whether Coleman did or didn’t abuse his wife (though he clearly has anger issues), but this show got exactly the reaction they wanted. What makes me laugh is that after he specifically said there was no abuse in his relationship, Lisa Bloom continues to ask why he’s avoiding the question. And then they get someone on to validate it while he pushes his new book. Rubbish.

  5. Just watched what small part of the interview that ACA aired and thought that Gary does really have major issues. He has a temper and if he gets as angry with someone asking him questions,(which Gary would of knew they would ask before he agreed too interview)l hate to imagine how he treats his wife and just because Gary is a small man doesnt mean he cant hurt someone ,was very sad really to see this guy as a adult acting like he did in interview and saying such crazy talk and disgusting language. And yes maybe he did act this way to get attention which he has all over the world now.

  6. Ridiculous. She just kept pushing that because she knew that would be the reaction. Then they bring on a psychologist to try to justify what happened. Such a trashy show.

  7. Bloom (the loud mouth in the red) is a lawyer and the only child of Gloria Allred.Allred is a ambulance chaser lawyer that loves getting her dial on TV,must run in the family.

  8. Oh my god. It’s really hard to storm off and be taken seriously when you’re 4’7″ and the set is on a raised platform! When he was denying it (or more to the point, avoided denying or confirming it) he kept looking up or saying it with his eyes closed – people usually do that when they’re lying and can’t look someone in the eye. But whatever, that show is trash.
