FOX8’s new reality series Ultimate School Musical: Fame will premiere 7:30pm Tuesday April 20.
The series hosted by Ruby Rose is based on a UK format.
Students from Years 7 to 12 from Essendon Keilor College will be dancing, singing and acting through their school holidays with some mentoring from professionals from the touring production of the Fame stage musical.
The series culminates in a performance of the musical, which was filmed in late January.
The series premieres just five days after the stage musical, which opens on April 15.
