Bumped: Disable Bodied Sailors, The Killing. Gone: Rex in Rome.

SBS has made major changes to its mid-week line up effective from this Wednesday affecting Rex in Rome, The Killing and Disabled Bodied Sailors.

SBS has made major changes to its mid-week line up effective from this Wednesday.

The broadcaster is moving Disable Bodied Sailors from Thursday nights to Fridays, to begin again in April. TV Tonight understands the series has had good feedback, but low numbers -so SBS will re-launch it on April 9. Last week it managed 105,000 viewers. It will be replaced by repeats of Heston’s Feast.

Danish drama The Killing moves to 10pm. Rex in Rome is replaced with Inspector Rex.

  1. Woah! Was worried there that Rex had been completely neutered, otherwise I’d have to explain why to Master 5, a big Rex fan despite the fact he can’t read and can’t speak German (the 5 year old, not Rex).

  2. The Killing is a great program!
    Not that I really care that it’s moved to a later slot – since SBS started bunging in ads in their shows we never watch them, we timeshift and zap the ads.
