Rumour: Angry Boys

More whispers from the set of Angry Boys, the next series from Chris Lilley.

TV Tonight is hearing more whispers from the set of Angry Boys, the next series from Chris Lilley.

Following previous shoots at Highpoint Shopping Centre and the seaside town of Torquay, last week the shoot was in a warehouse in the outer-Melbourne suburb of Rowville.

The scene doubled as a massive Tokyo skate scene, complete with 150 extras. This would seem to fit with a previous casting call casting that went out for a male Japanese-American professional skateboarder, aged (16-20) to play Corey.

Lilley is also rumoured to have donned wigs and makeup for another appearance by Ja’mie.

In his earlier incarnation on The Big Bite, Lilley played skaterboy ‘Extreme Darren.’

Angry Boys shoots until April and will premiere on ABC next year.

  1. This bloke is seriously over-rated.

The only reason praise has been heaped upon him is the lack of any other talent on the Australian Comedic landscape.

No doubt his next show will rate and be a success but geez, he’s not That good.

  2. why would Ja’mie be in Angry Boys? I thought the show was about men in the 21st century, unless of course Ja’mie is actually a boy.
