Channel [V] personality Renee Bargh (pictured, left) has quit the music channel to pursue career opportunities in Los Angeles.
Bargh, who has been on-air with Channel [V] since March 2008, will be leaving the channel on June 30th.
Bargh has appeared across a number of [V] programming, hosted the Big Day Out and Sound Relief concerts, and presented [V] Rater, B430 and Hanging With… series.
Renee Bargh, “I have had a fantastic two years at Channel [V] and I am very grateful to have worked on such a broad range of programs, but the time has come for me to stretch my wings and see what’s out there in the wide world. I have been very lucky to work with such an amazing team and will miss them all greatly.”
XYZnetworks Music Channels General Manager, Shaun James said, “It is a shame to see Renee leave Channel [V], but we respect her desire to relocate to L.A. and endeavour to broaden her career. She has been a terrific part of our on-air team and I know the entire Channel [V] family wish her success in the US.”
Last year [V] recruited its newest presenter Billy Russell through its Presenter Search contest.
Bargh will continue her current on-air hosting duties up until this date.

I used to work with her and I can 100% certify that she is a lovely girl. She was always warm and friendly to me – In fact, she was probably the nicest person I met at the whole company (XYZ Networks).
Best of Luck Renee, she is a massive hottie and can talk and has her head screwed on! she will be fine.
Gosh, four comments on this story (at the time of reading), and as usual, tons of negativity. I have never heard of this woman, but at least she’s out there giving it a go!! This “wave” of negative comments is being seen on so many stories on this superb site that I often don’t bother to read the comments section.
Best of luck Renee, hope you do well.
Unfortunately the internet is rife with negative comments be it on a TV, sport, technology site etc. I can’t say I always agree with their tone, but if they adhere to Comments Policy what can you do…..
Good to see some support, Issa.
Get use to washing dishes in some downtown diner !! Only the lucky ones survive in LA & the unlucky ones are on the next flight back home.
I’m not surprised. You can see her everywhere these days.
Never to be heard from again, no doubt. (exept possibly in a “whatever happened to” segment on a future TV show)
It’s a tough market to break into. She might want to add National Bingo Night caller on her CV just in case.
