Airdate: 2010 French Open

Australia's Sam Stosur will soon be competing in the 2010 French Open coming to Nine and FOX Sports.

Nine will show one-hour highlights of the 2010 French Open from 12am Tuesday June 1st (midnight Monday).

It begins with Quarter Finals highlights that continue across the week, usually at midnight. On Friday and Saturday mornings the coverage will be later.

But FOX Sports will have live coverage of Days 8 to 14 from 7pm Sunday May 30th.

Competing in the event are Australia’s Sam Stosur plus Rafael Nadal, looking to recapture the title he lost in 2009.

  1. David you have the start date wrong for the Fox Sports coverage. It starts this Sunday 23rd at 7pm not the 30th. They are starting from round 1. Its always a good tournament and its a shame people without Pay TV dont get any good coverage at all.

  2. There really should be some live coverage on FTA especially with Sam now a chance. Supposedly SBS wanted to pick it up a year or two ago and show the 2nd week live (the matches on the anti-siphoning list) but the rights holders would rather deal with Foxtel exclusively so to statisfy the anti-siphoning requirement they gave Nine one hour highlight packages which are practically useless.

  3. What? I was like so surprised when i looked at the title of this post, then i realized that Nine would only show the highlights. Pathetic coverage. Let’s hope we would have better coverage for Wimbledon.

ONE should have grabbed the rights.. People without Pay-TV have been longing to watch the French Open in FTA tv.
