ASTRA ambassadors

Tara Moss, Brendon Julian and Kyle Linahan have been appointed as ambassadors for the upcoming ASTRA Awards.

The three will be presenters at the event and will be plugging the Pay TV awards up until the event on June 24th.

“I’m looking forward to my first ASTRAS,” said Tara Moss. “Recognition in any industry is what drives better performance and quality work, and the ASTRAs celebrate the best in subscription TV in Australia, where you can watch anything you want – whether it be a niche program like my new true crime series Tough Nuts, or blockbuster films and addictive international shows like True Blood.”

Moss will be doing her bit in the media for Tangle, Satisfaction, Ultimate School Musical and her own series coming to Crime & Investigation. Julian will be pushing sport and news channels while Linahan will focus on new channels and content only available on subscription TV such as STVDIO, Live music and events.

ASTRA also claims to be celebrating first run international shows such as Gossip Girl, Mad Men, True Blood and The Hills – although none were shortlisted as a finalist including in the Favourite Program category.
