Gary Coleman cremated, no funeral.

Gary Coleman has been cremated with no funeral service, wake, or other ceremony to memorialise his passing.

Gary Coleman’s remains have been cremated and his ashes will be locked away until a court decides who should get them, the administrator of his estate has said.

“The proceeding was conducted in accordance with Mr. Coleman’s desires as expressed in his will, that no funeral service, wake, or other ceremony memorialise his passing,” attorney Robert Jeffs said.

A will dispute between ex-wife Shannon Price and former business associate Anna Gray continues.

Price, 24, claimed in a petition that she was still Coleman’s common-law wife. She filed a handwritten document from 2007 that, if validated by the court, would give her Coleman’s estate. But a will signed by Coleman in 2005 named Gray as executor and awarded her all of his estate.

Price had the life-support plug pulled within 24 hours of Coleman slipping into a coma. The former Diff’rent Strokes star, who died three weeks ago, had specified continuing life support for at least 15 days if he slipped into an irreversible coma.

  1. Andrew you are a goose – “love amercia” have you ever been there?? Do you judge 300m people by a few? Would you judge Australia by Pauline Hanson? I have spent a lot of time in the US and I can tell you Australia has more small minded, racist, illiterate morons.

  2. Bloody hell, I think it just goes to show all this ‘fame’ etc isn’t all its cracked up to be, and quite honestly we are all going to die one day, but this is just a very sad and it seems almost depraved the way these vultures went about this… quite disgusting.

RIP Gary, hope you are finally at peace.

  3. This just gets worse (haven’t been following the story elsewhere). She only gave him 24hrs before pulling his plug and then trying to get her mitts on his estate? Exactly what you’d expect from a loving and devoted wife.

Wonder what the legal ramifications are if that action was in direct contradiction of his wishes. Were they stated in his will and was she or the hospital aware of them?

so basically she ignored a legal contract (his will). nice. love america.

  5. This story gets sadder. I am glad gary doesn’t have to put up with the miserable bastards who road his coat tails anymore.

They should scatter his ashes in space so he can look down on those who treated him like crap !
