Great promo. Here’s hoping Vanessa Williams’s character is as good as Nicolette Sheridan’s Edie.
The cast and Marc Cherry are signed on for 7 seasons which seems enough to finish on, so if it’s decided to do more seasons, it’ll be hugely expensive.
@Adam, Edie was in the original cast but only had ‘official housewife’ status from season 2. hence she was never in the opening credits or original promotional pics.

I decided to give up on the show last season. The writing is sub-par nowadays, and the ladies aren’t given great material to work with. The “strangler” storyline and the Angie storyline with Patrick Logan were both incredibly boring and badly executed. This promo looks intriguing though;

Not so fast, Vanessa Williams has been given full housewife status in the new season.
…which is a good thing, they need someone spicy since Eddie got a taste of the back of Marc Cherry’s hand.
I doubt 7 will fastfrack this show, they never have, and they never put it on Sundays like people expected they would.
No way ch7 will fast track it and it will stay on the main channel.
Any word is Seven will be fast tracking it?
I heard they will but it might move to 7TWO and replayed later on the main channel.
i think the season 2 ‘juicy’ and the season 3 ‘dirty laundry’ promos (both of which are in the similar vds at the end of that vid) were the best. but i like that one. i just realised that they are back to the original 4 housewives now that edie, kathrine and angie are gone.
