The first live X Factor Show and its Xtra Factor companion will air on Sunday September 19th.

The first big live X Factor show rolls out at 7:30pm September 19th, one week after Junior MasterChef launches. Luke Jacobz now hosts the live performances.

There will be 12 contestants remaining at this stage of the competition. The first elimination for the show will take place 7:30pm Monday September 20th.

Xtra Factor premieres on Sunday September 19th at 9:45pm on 7TWO with host Natalie Garonzi.

  1. I recall Xtra Factor from the first season on 10. Chloe Maxwell hosted and I think it was run before The X Factor instead of afterwards.

    Anyway, hope they give this version decent promotion. Will be interesting to see if it can get many viewers from 7 switching over to 7TWO afterwards.

  2. Lol @ Chris – def not matey but I do know how X Factor works, having watched the last few UK seasons.
    Xtra Factor is really fun – learn more about the contestants.
    It’s a pity 7 havent already started Xtra Factor – would be nice to see a few more contestants who got through but had little airtime.

  4. Luke should give plenty of notice to viewers so that they can switch immediately to 7TWO for The Xtra Factor once the FremantleMedia logo appears. And, as I have said before, if The X Factor does not finish on time and 7TWO’s line-up is right on schedule, extra ad breaks and fillers may be needed for 7TWO in the few minutes before The Xtra Factor starts.

  5. Xtra Factor is really good – as it starts right after the main show finishes. It features interviews with the judges, behind the scenes footage, what the contestants have been up to, celebrity panel etc – don’t miss it!!
