The Nine Network will feature long-distance runner Pat Farmer’s charity marathon from the North to the South Poles, titled Pat Farmer’s Pole 2 Pole Run next year.
Farmer, a former Liberal Member for the Federal seat of Macarthur, will embark on the ultra-marathon in December. It is being billed as the longest run on Earth and will take 14 months to complete.
The event will be produced by Quail TV, which has produced Find My Family for the Seven Network.
The company is venturing into light entertainment to be headed by Writer / Producer Rick Kalowski (Double Take, Comedy Inc) while Kate Edwards will oversee branded content.
Quail TV is pursuing opportunities for its content, including Pat Farmer’s Pole 2 Pole Run at the MIPCOM trade event in Cannes.
“Our recent appointment of Kate and Rick to focus on growing the company’s local and global presence is in perfect timing with MIPCOM,” said Quail founder Greg Quail. “We’ll be in Cannes to launch our expansion into scripted, light entertainment, feature film and brand-funded content, building on our reputation for producing life-changing factual and documentary content.”

Quail TV is covering every step Live, from what I’ve read.
will it be in time lapse??
At first glance, I thought you meant they were going to cover the whole thing live!
How very Truman Show!
Still, either way…. Snooze!
