  1. For those who are interested, Rage is also incorporating its James Freud / Models tribute special into this Saturday night’s show (Sat 13th Nov) from about 3.30am.

Check the Rage site for details.

  2. Yes, the ABC3 idea would give us more hours of Rage, but I think ABC2’s demos would suit it more. Like David wrote, I’d be too scared to program Cannibal Corpse clips on ABC3. 😉

  3. I haven’t watched rage since they scrapped playing the ARIA top 50 videos each weekend morning. Used to be an institution for me when i was little. Remember waking up early every Saturday to watch and would be so upset when i turned the tv on and it was up to no. 40 and realised i’d slept through the first 10 songs. Don’t know why they scrapped that.

  4. I’ll go on further than Stan. I’d like to see rage on abc3 between 9pm and 6am each day. Makes for better viewing that a static image and abc digg radio. If I had my way, rage would be on 24/7 🙂

    1. Rage on ABC3 “after hours” is a nice idea… they would have to pick tame clips so as not to stray too far from Kids though. If a kiddie accidentally tuned in at 10pm or 5am you couldn’t risk burning their eyes!

  5. The Rage Fifty was successful in 2009 & I’m glad to see it back this year. The reason it works well is that every video from the year is up for the vote, so the outcome is diverse & variable. Last year, the countdown included everything from Guy Sebastian to Kasabian & Britney Spears to Art Vs. Science. It’s a good representation of everyone’s favourite tunes, a proper countdown & not an audience specific one like Triple J’s Hottest 100.
