It’s been nearly two years since Celebrity Singing Bee aired in a series form on Nine, but it is back on screen this summer.
Hosted by Tim Campbell, the eps were produced in 2008.
TV Tonight understands despite the long wait charities which were recipients of prizemoney received their cash earlier this year.
The delay in running the show has also seen Nine have to relicense the songs that were used, given they were only licensed for 12 months.
The last two episodes airing in January are repeats, but here are the stars you can catch over summer.
Public holidays notwithstanding it airs at 7:30pm Saturdays, beginning December 4th.

the only watchable parts are the hot girls dancing.
A fun programme on a Saturday night! We enjoyed trying to remember the words! Harder than it seems!

Why oh why! And poor form to take so long to give money to the charities (recorded in 2008 and only gave the money earlier this year!)
I love the fact that Nine waited sooo long to show unaired episodes that they had relicence the songs. Talk about awful management.
They should go back to doing the proper version like they did with Joey Fatone, but keep Tim as the host. He fits into the show far better than he did in Wheel of Fortune. Celebrity versions of show just don’t really do it for me. May watch it if nothing else is on.
i don’t care what anyone says I love this show – it’s so perfect for saturday nights – why AFHV has gone on for so long amazes me. i don’t suppose nine are likely to make a new series of singing bee if they haven’t recorded for 2 years
At least we were saved from US import Don’t Forget The Lyrics on 10 this summer (mainly because the show has become a weekend afternoon filler insead)

I like this show as well. I wonder why channel 9 is not showing it? Lack of celebrities? Do we really need them, can’t they just use ordinary people? Some of them can sing as well. Better than some so called celebrities.

I always thought this show was suited to Sat night 7.30pm. What a shame it is 2 years old, but great to see Tim Campbell back on TV. Can’t wait to see the episode with Anthony Callea (lucky they are still together).
Not a bad show
I’m actually excited about this!! The tackiness aside, it’s sometimes nice to enjoy a singing comp on a saturday night! Plus seeing celebs from the past to present is nice too.
