Neighbours favourite Kym Valentine recently checked herself into hospital, believed to be suffering from exhaustion.
A TEN spokesperson has told the Herald Sun, “Kym has taken the best possible care of herself over the past few months following a number of serious illnesses.
“We look forward to welcoming her back to Neighbours in the new year as planned.”
Six months ago, Valentine was diagnosed with a lung problem, believed to be a small blood clot in her lung.
She also missed the media party for the soap’s 6000th episode in July.
In 2008 she contracted pneumonia and a collapsed lung on a flight from the US to Melbourne, requiring her immediate withdrawal from the series, with actress Michala Banas stepping into the role.
Neighbours resumes its 2011 production shortly.

Hope Kym gets better soon. For regional fans of Neighbours in Qld, SC10 started showing an ELEVEN test pattern on Ch55 today, rather than rebroadcast of Ch5.

What’s wrong with this woman? In the last 2 years she’s been admitted to hospital 3 times for pretty much the same illness!!
