ABC News 24 appoints new Political Editor

Political journalist Lyndal Curtis has been appointed as ABC News 24 Political Editor, replacing Chris Uhlmann.

Political journalist Lyndal Curtis has been appointed as ABC News 24 Political Editor, replacing Chris Uhlmann who is headed to 7:30.

The appointment will see her hosting the political show Capital Hill from Monday, March 21 as a 15 minute program Monday to Thursday and a half hour program on Fridays.

Curtis has been Chief Political Correspondent for ABC Radio’s AM, The World Today and PM following five years as State Editor of the ABC Newsroom in Canberra.

She has worked for the ABC since 1993 in Radio News, Radio Current Affairs, TV News, Radio National and ABC Online, reporting on five Prime Ministers and seven elections.

Curtis will start her new role March 7th.
