Ahead of the 111HITS showcase of Prisoner in March, the channel is conducting a contest that offers a fan a trip to Melbourne to meet some of the stars of the show at the Old Melbourne Gaol.
They also get to bring 3 of their friends. Very cool.
To win this you’ll have to convince the judges why you’re the show’s biggest fan. Be creative, people.
All the details plus terms and conditions can be found here.
Entries close at 17:00hrs on Monday 21 February 2011.
Hmm, maybe I should enter this thing. After all when I told Channel 0 they should start up a fan club for the show they said, ‘Ok but you run it.’Â That was waaaaay before those other ones were even dreamt of.
If you’re a Prisoner fan I’ve blogged about those days before here.
More info on Airdates soon.

That’s it, I’m going to get Foxtel!
cant wait for the start of prisoner again i just hope they show the whole series from start to finish and with the competition they are running it gives me more hope that they will be showing it from start to finish i wonder if they have to pay royalties
Best show ever! I cannot remember a show which millions looked forward to watching twice a week. Return To Eden was another wonderful Dynasty style program….
what if the winner lives in Melbourne ??
What happens to the 4 plane tickets if they don’t need to use them or could they invite interstate friends?? it sounds easier to enter this competition if you don’t live in Melbourne.
Love the pic. The tough Bea Smith in all her glory!
I’ll definitely be in on that! Easily one of Australia’s best productions, they certainly can’t make shows like that anymore. I just wish they would show it on free to air so more people can see this aussie tv classic!
