Australian actor Ben Lawson, best known for his role as Neighbours‘ Frazer Yeats, is joining US cable series Covert Affairs.
Lawson, who has been based in the US for some time, had a lead in the ABC legal drama The Deep End but the series only lasted 6 episodes. He is the brother of actor Josh Lawson.
In Covert Affairs, he will play Dr. Scott Weiss, “a charming and handsome Doctors Without Borders-type physician whom Annie (Piper Perabo) meets when she takes her niece, Chloe, to the emergency room. Passionate about his work, Scott understands Annie’s devotion to her job — even if he doesn’t know what that job actually is.”
The second season for the show airs on the USA Network on June 7.
It airs in Australia on Seven.

Had been wondering what was happening with this show. Good to knowing its returning to the screens in the states.
Covert Affairs is still making episodes? It’s awful.
I thought it said A Current Affair.
I’m hoping Seven fasttracks this one in June!
Looking hotter than ever! I’ll be watching.
