Report: Kyle in talks for Seven chat show
Could Kyle Sandilands be getting a late-night talk show on Seven?

A media report yesterday speculated that Kyle Sandilands is negotiating a new chat show for Channel Seven.
The project could be a late-night talk show, although it isn’t clear how it might conflict with his morning radio gig and frequent time spent in the US.
“Kyle’s been told it’s a goer but a pilot is yet to be shot,” a source close to Sandilands told News Ltd. “We’ll see where it goes but [Kyle’s] super keen on it.”
Sandilands is coming up Australia’s Got Talent next month, but isn’t returning to The X Factor.

Oh God, is it April 1 again?
I actually dont have a problem with Kyle as long as he is correct in what he is saying. A chat show with Kyle as host i think would fo pretty well. Kyle is opionated, reasonably well informed and would not be borring to say the least.
Australia has been pining for an entertaining prime time talk show since Micallef was ripped off Channel 9’s roster prematurely.
Please, all that is sacred, let this work.
i just love reading comments by the Kyle haters (same as the Eddie Everywhere haters).

@garry. I agree, Kyle would be sensational on Beauty and the Beast. Much more suited to his “talents” than a chat show, which I think would not be suited to his demeanour or personality. He is not Michael Parkinson or Andrew Denton.
@ Mark, yes I think Kyle would be fantastic as the beast on Beauty and the Beast. That show has come and gone so many times over the years, it must be due to come back.

People criticise him, yet he still wins the ratings in Sydney and still get the people to listen to him. Its like people hate him but they wanna listen to say what he says next so they can talk about how horrible he is and not be left behind when everyone talks about the latest thing he said, love to hate him really.

Let’s hope not. Kyle is a shocking interviewer and he has little credibility beyond being a shock jock and a talent show judge. His chat show would go the same way as Warnie – down the tubes.

I’m not sure about a late night chat show for Kyle, but would love to see him do a new version of Beauty and the Beast. It would be a perfect vehicle for him.
I’m one of the few that don’t hate Kyle. How can this work given that he is widely disliked? Who would watch and who would appear on his show? I’d be very surprised is this actually happens.
Because ‘Warnie’ worked So well. This is all we need, more air time given to him. Is it April 1st again?

Just because it’s a late night talk show doesn’t mean it has to conflict with his radio job. Rove used to tape ahead of time, and all the US talk shows tape their shows mid-afternoon to go to air at 10:30/11:30/12:30 at night.
This sounds like something Channel 9 would do
