Report: Sheen wants back in, but Warner Bros. doesn’t.

Charlie Sheen may want to win back his role on Two and a Half Men, but Warner Bros. reportedly has other ideas.

Charlie Sheen may want to win back his role on Two and a Half Men (guess he got over the bowling shirts pretty fast) but the studio doesn’t care for that idea.

One report suggests CBS heavyweight Les Moonves has been putting pressure on Warner Bros. to take Charlie back.

“Absolutely false,” a source has told the TMZ. Apparently, Moonves has not even weighed in.

TMZ sources directly connected to the production of the show also insist Sheen will never be invited back. Warlock winning.

  1. Nine Australia should never have axed Temptation For Charlie Sheen. What would have worked better is have the game show for some forty something weeks during ratings season and for the summer shown the 2.5 morons. Not overdosed on reruns just to keep costs down.

  2. What Charlie Sheen needs now … is to go to Rehab & get better.
Otherwise it’s just like watching a train wreck ..
knowing the outcome won’t be pretty … and that’s sad 🙁

  3. The Show is dead and not a minute given the life expectancy of these sitcoms is about eight to ten years.I hope it never comes back in any form and that Nine have the decency to show a good home grown comedy in it’s place.

  4. Not sure if people understand TV… everyone saying no to bringing it back? if it gets the ratings… and let’s not kid ourselfs – It will get the ratings- then it should and will be brought back. the only reason it may not come back is because some high up people need to beat there chest. but money makes people do things, so therefore i’d be surprised if it doesnt (or maybe im just hoping… how hilarious would it be if it did though? come on people (drive hybrids))

  5. My loathing of the show is well TVTonightified but taking an objective step back, surely it’s in the interests of the dignity of the show, the writers, the actors and the legacy of the thing itself to walk away from it and move on.

  6. Surely not even a TV executive would be stupid enough to give that idiot another go at that, or any other, role? He’s trashed the brand beyond recovery, no one could step into the role now and make it work.

Michael J. Fox? You’ve got to be kidding! He couldn’t have done it when he was well, he’s too typecast as a nice guy. The whole reason Sheen worked so well in it was because everyone knew it was a fictionalised (and cleaned up for family TV) version of his real life, but now it’s dead as the dodo, we can’t suspend our disbelief and smile at Charlie’s foibles any more. Time to put the show down and move on to other projects.

  7. @Bazza and AA , im afraid MJ Fox’s acting days are well and truly over , i saw him on Oprah a few weeks ago with a doctor and he was all over the place with his movement and quite hard to understand , its a bloody shame to him or anyone like this. The show should be canned anyway.

  8. Charlie angered alot of people and their pride. Thats something you dont do. I know that he will not be getting his job back at CBS and definetly not at CBS. @Bazza. Micheal J Fox would be a good recruit to the show assuming the show still has legs. But the only problem i see with employing Michael J Fox full time is his battle with parkinsons, i wonder if that could get in the way and make production difficult, not so much as the person but the desease. Still would be good to see him back on tv full time. I thought that he did a great job inhis guest roles on: Boston Legal, Scrubs and the Good Wife.

  9. Who needs him!!! I say get a new character in or simply axe the show!!! As they say in the showbiz circles: “Chalie sheen will never work in That town again!” (….and good ridance!)

  10. Maybe Charlie sobered up for more than 5 minutes?

Personally I think the show is dead, it will never come back in any form, but will live on in re-runs on Nine for years to come LOL
