Friday night’s coverage of Wimbledon coverage in NSW, ACT and Queensland will be telecast exclusively on 7TWO commencing at 10:00pm.
The network had planned to telecast Wimbledon on Seven this Friday in New South Wales and Queensland and move live AFL to 7mate.
But Minister for Communications Stephen Conroy has not allowed the AFL to be shifted, leaving Seven contractually obliged to show the AFL on Seven at 11.30pm.
Wimbledon, Friday July 1:
Begins 10pm on 7TWO in Sydney and Brisbane.
10pm – 11pm on 7TWO in Melbourne
11pm – 4am on Channel 7 in Melbourne
9.30pm – 11pm on 7TWO in Adelaide
11pm – 3.30am on Channel 7 in Adelaide
8pm – 11pm on 7TWO in Perth
11pm – 2am on Channel 7 in Perth

Look forward to AFL on 7mate at a reasonable time on friday nights and now this incompetent bunch of fools masquerading as a government are in our lives again with stupid decisions…..get out of our lives Gillard and Co.
Why has 7two been off-air for two nights in Wide Bay area? We are watching Wimbledon on internet instead. It’s not brilliant but it beats a blank screen.
