On Wisteria Lane she plays the irascible Mrs. McCluskey, but Kathryn Joosten says she will be happy to see the back of Desperate Housewives.
“I’m glad to be done with it,” she tells EOnline.
“Because it’s said everything there is to say and done it.
“There hasn’t been that much for me to do anyhow because they don’t know how to write for people my age… There haven’t been any stories for me for the last two years.”
So very true.

That’s not true, Felicity Halfman is the same age as her isn’t she?
I love Mrs. McCluskey, and thought she added a lot to the show. Kathryn is a great actress.
Wow! Talk about ungrateful! Yes roles for ‘older’ women are hard to come by but she’s won 2 Emmys for this role. A very good example of biting the hand that feeds you.
