Grand Designs update

Grand Designs Revisited this Sunday night is now just Grand Designs.

ABC has issued a Programming amendment that renames Grand Designs Revisited this Sunday night to just Grand Designs.

It will also play the six episodes out of sequence beginning with “London.”

Kevin revisits a couple who built two timber houses in London on a long narrow site, overlooking and overlooked by 16 different neighbours, to see if they ended up with their urban oasis, mortgage-free dream.   

Although Kevin McCloud returns to former houses, the 2010 episodes don’t appear to have been labelled as Grand Designs Revisited on their UK website.

  2. The revisited episodes of GD tend to air during the normal season in the UK…each season is longer and it tends to be two new house episodes then a revist episode. Well at least that’s how it was when I was in the UK.

    I’ve never quite understood why they don’t air the same way here unless it’s to do with the way the show is sold to other markets.
