With the Melbourne Cup about a month away it seems like a good time to give this a whirl, the new teaser for HBO’s horseracing drama, Luck.
It stars Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte, is directed by Michael Mann and is created by Deadwood‘s David Milch.
It premieres in the US next year.

really looking forward to this! Epic pedigree!
The pedigree for this show is as good as it gets. I’m not the biggest fan of horse racing, but the talent of Milch (Deadwood is close to the best TV ever) and Mann (Heat is one of my favourite films) is extremely encouraging.
HBO just does it better..no doubt will catch this next year
Was that the same Michael Mann who directed I am Sam??
That cast + HBO = Emmys.
I love horse racing and the sport. Looking forward to this.
